Default How low is your thermostat in winter?

I'm new here, so please pardon me if this has already been asked.

How low do you keep the temperature in your house during winter months? We keep it around 70 degrees F and it's about 30 outside, so it's a little chilly in here but definitely bearable. (We're also wearing layers as opposed to shorts!)

We actually turn ours down to 66 at night and 68 during the day and I am home during the day, it would be lower if I was gone. We have a very large home and it costs a fortune to heat it.

74 normally when home I like it toasty. When we are gone 72. We do budget billing. We are charged $90 a month all year long. That price lets me keep the heat where i like it. Plus we have a little one and don't need her freezing.

Last year I kept it around 53. I did a lot of experimenting with heating pads under my butt and under my feet as I worked.
