I prefer crochet-- I knit some, but I can crochet without thinking almost. I generally have 2 or 3 projects going at any given time.

I've been working on a shawl and just finished it, and I am wanting to start an afghan for my MIL. I also need to do a few dish cloths because mine are looking pretty rough.

My goal for this year is to do some afghans and shawls for Christmas presents and buying the yarn on sale or clearance. What are your goals for this year? Any?

I crochet some. I'm working on a large afghan right now, but mainly I've made baby afghans, baby booties and dish cloths. I like smaller projects that are finished quickly.

Me too, but I also like to see the bigger ones as well - when I have the time do them.

Love crochet. Learned it first. I am trying to finish up an afagan. Also, I love to knit. Knitting discloths ,and socks now too. I get tired of doing one thing all the time. Pinkroses.

I crochet as well as knit. I don't really prefer one to the other except if I am using fine thread for lace doilies or similar then I prefer to crochet as it is easier to pull back and rectify a mistake than it is with knitted lace.

I love making washclothes (and using them ). I really like the fact that they only take about an hour or so to make. And they do make wonderful gifts. I'm planning to make a bunch this year for gifts. I've never really had the chance to do that before this year.

I'm glad so many of us crochet!
