Question What are your frugal blocks

Just wondering what your frugal blocks are? What are those things that just can throw you off the frugal path quicker than quick. I know mine is eating out, God it is soooooooooooo easy for me to plop my butt down and order up a meal without even batting an eye. That is my weakness, and also craft stores !!!!!!!!!!!

Walmart!!! I try to only go there once a month after payday and take a LIST! I still usually have to go back and put things away. When I'm all done shopping I start looking into my cart and saying, "Do I REALLY need this?" If not - back it goes!!!!

Books on ebay. It'll sit on my amazon wish list for months and months but if I see I can get it a dollar cheaper on ebay, I'm all over it!
But I haven't finished reading what I already have.

Probably movies or TV series (DVDs) would be mine... I don't care much for eating out (a pizza from Costco would be the closest...Costco is like Sam's Club for those of you who aren't familiar with it). Other than that...maybe stationary? I like to pen pal...

I think if we lived in the lower 48 where there's lots to do and you can just drive to it I would have a lot more "frugal blocks".

Eating Out is My big weakness! Yesterday I was proud of myself because we went out for All You Can Eat $2.50 Pasta and Breadsticks (we all ordered water as well) but today however I spent over $15 bucks at Buffalo Wild Wings .50 cent boneless wings were too good to pass up

I have to have my Equal for my coffee and my Folgers no matter the price. And yes...eating out is way to easy. I have eaten out for the better part of the past month and I plan to curb that.

Eating out and Walmart! I've been trying my best to stay out of Walmart. One day I filled up a cart with junk and walked out of the store and didn't buy any of it. Put it all back. Strange thing is I didn't need any of it! Didn't miss a thing I put back! What's THAT about?

Also, eating out is just so easy to do. That's a battle I've been fighting for a long time with my husband.

Another thing, is he always wants to buy a drink at the checkout when we buy groceries. It's like a dollar fifty for a giant soda (no one needs to drink that much soda anyway!) and if you do that 4x a month, that's $6.00 a month for that. $72.00 a year! For overpriced too big soda pops. LOL!

What a waste of money!

Default Blocks!

I have plenty!

Wal-Mart
Value-Village
Goodwill
Salvation Army
Grocery Outlet
E B A Y
www.shopgoodwill.com (don't get started, just say NO)

My husband tries to keep me on track, but there are just times I NEED to go thrift shopping. It relaxes me, I find treasures to keep or sell on ebay. He gives me updates several times a month, letting me know how much money I spend.

I try to sell enough on ebay to keep a few bucks in PayPal (I have a PP debit card) to get my fix.

Mine is beer. I love craft beer and imports and find myself shelling out for the $5 Guinness over the $2 Miller Lite. Luckily, I got a good deal on a home brewing kit which will save me a lot of money!
