Many pet medications are the same for dogs and cats, except for the size of the pills. I found that Capstar (flea medication) for dogs is 4x larger than the dose for cats yet the cost is the same. I use a pill cutter to cut the dog tablets into 4 pieces and use each 1/4 as a single dose for my cat.
